We'll start our
evening enjoying the colour and pageantry of the
Tercer
Paseo de Carnaval
That's the 3rd
parade of this year's Carnaval.
(There is a 4th
parade scheduled for the following night if you can't attend
this one.)
Sources have
indicated last year's parade route proceeded along
Av 10 from Av
Juárez to Calle 34
Given that
route, Plaza Pelícanos, at the
corner of Av 10 and Calle 10
(next to
Blockbuster)
is the perfect
place for Peeps to gather and shoot some great authentic
Carnaval parade pictures while
enjoying the camaraderie of Peep Fest 2006.
This area is
chock full of favourite Peep hangouts to beckon one and all to
disperse to for suppers and/or drinks as needed following the
parade.

After supper,
Carnaval events will surely be
continuing
just a short
distance to the west at
Plaza 28 de
Julio
This is the
block west of Plaza Pelícanos,
bounded by Av 20 to the west, Calle 10 to the north, Av 15 to
the east and Calle 8 to the south, and is the location of the
Plataforma del Carnaval, or
Mainstage of Carnival
The scheduled
entertainment features a performance by Mexican singing
sensation
Natalia la Fourcade and her band
La Forquetina
She has been
described as
"Mexico's answer to Nelly Furtado" and will
appeal to both music lovers and others regardless of the
language barriers.

The Peep
Fest 2006 Organizing Committee wishes to acknowledge the
